Drop-In Center

The Drop-In Center, is a Youth Center located in South Los Angeles and Claremont that has served underserved, unhoused, and at-risk youth and young adults ages 18–24 since opening in August 2023.

Designed as a safe, non-judgmental space built on harm reduction principles, the center offers immediate relief through basic needs like meals, water, clothing, and hygiene kits, alongside life skills workshops covering budgeting, anger management, trauma-informed yoga, and substance abuse and dating violence prevention. Youth who engage further receive personalized case management, including Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) that connect them to housing, employment training, mentoring, and healthcare partners.

The center also runs a youth leadership program, training young adults with lived experience in homelessness or substance abuse to become peer facilitators who lead prevention workshops for their community.
