Position Summary: The Construction Site Supervisor will oversee and supervise the construction site, participants and staff. Managing construction staff and providing job site leadership and direction. Inspecting work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications. The Construction Site Supervisor task with a variety of duties that are crucial for smooth execution of construction projects.

Pay : This position ranges from $58,000 to $62,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Complete Safety Training to all participants

  • Ensure oversight and safety of all participants on the construction site

  • Complete construction orientation and onboarding for all participants

  • Create a strategic plan for the execution of construction and remodels within a timely manner.

  • Create and implement a hands-on model for participants in sync with hands on training

  • Safety meetings/ walkthroughs, ensuring personnel is working safely and productivity.

  • Completing site safety reports and participant training

  • Problem Solving and weekly meetings with program staff and leaderships on updates.

  • Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards on-site and reporting any concerns or violations immediately.

  • Conducts case conferencing with case managers, job developers and intake specialist and monthly case files audits to assure participant records are complete and accurate.

  • Train and motivate construction workers and staff, ensuring adherence to safe practices.

  • Ensure all equipment and materials are available on site as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of construction management processes and building codes.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical documents.

  • A diploma or degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.

  • Certification in OSHA construction safety.

  • Must be a licensed contractor

  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications

  • Valid California driver’s license, acceptable proof of automobile insurance, and/or reliable mode of transportation

  • 1 Year experience in construction supervision

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma and Degree in related field or a combination of relevant education and experience (2 years)

Work Environment:

This position involves working directly within a residential home setting with youth who have experienced homelessness, trauma, and other life challenges. The role requires physical presence on site, alertness during shifts, and the ability to handle behavioral or emotional crises with professionalism and care.
